Honest...they didn’t try to up-sell me for anything I didn’t actually need. I’ve moved away from Washington but would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a good mechanic.

The alternator failed on my Ford Ranger while I was in a nearby town, and I was forced to have it repaired before driving back to Olympia. I think that shop did quality work, but unfortunately the warning lights came back on and the battery voltage started to drop after driving 25 miles. I called the shop and they referred me to Ben's Automotive as a closer alternative within the NAPA warranty network. Ben's basically did me a solid. Replaced the alternator, squared things up with the other shop, and sent me on my way. Extremely impressed with the customer service, and Ted in particular was exceptionally kind. I would definitely take my vehicles there in the future and refer any friends looking for a trustworthy local repair shop!

Have been taking our vehicles here for years now. Honest through and through and have consistently gone above and beyond. They have always had conversations with me when stuff comes up on the cars, taking the time to explain context about what's going on. Also their prices are very fair and competitive. The only downside to them sometimes is that people are catching on and they can get pretty busy pretty quick, but they're worth the wait, imo.

1st experience with Ben's Automotive was good. I like that the owner works the front of the house, so customer service is provided by the person who can make the decisions and has sage experience and knowledge. Good rates. Appear honest and fair. Definitely diagnosed the issue quickly and got the job done right when my car's computer kept rejecting the aftermarket parts.

Appreciate the honesty and the know how to do a job. I had wiring break under my seat for the airbag sensor and they were able to rewire it instead of having to purchase a new harness which would have been over 900 dollars. Everything they have done for my vehicle has been great. Really hard to find a trustworthy shop. I recommend them to everyone. 5 stars
